Code Red Athletics is a non-profit organization that strives for excellence to achieve your goals with commitment and dedication. We specialize in developing athletes at different skill levels to get them to reach their maximum potential. This is all achieved throughout competitive leagues, private and group training.
All of our programs consist of coaches who have years of experience, that take proven evidence-based systems and make them easy to understand and apply in athletic training.
Meet Our Coaches
Coach Victor Bennett
Head Coach, Founder & CEO
Coach Victor Bennett, the founder of Code Red Athletics, is a dedicated, enthusiastic and dynamic coach. Through his coaching, he instills a life long love for community through positive social and academic interactions. His strong record of fostering connective relationships with students, parents, and the community to achieve holistic success on all levels on and off the field, ensures continuous growth that focuses on student’s strengths and developing opportunities. For Coach Bennett, Code Red is a program that helps instill qualities to prepare kids for success beyond athletics.
Coach Bennett matriculated at Texas A&M -Commerce earning a Bachelors of Science degree in Human Performance. With this knowledge he combines a broad science background with health and wellness to assist individuals either in sports or personal health goals. While in attendance at A&M, he was a star athlete playing Wide Receiver for their football program. Coach Bennett recognized the impact that sports and nurturing young athletes had, which prompted him to begin his career in education working with at-risk youth. He continues this same passion working with Junior high & high school athletes with an experience of coaching over 20+ all district football players, and over 20+ Regional Qualifiers in track. He also has trained and mentored 15+ all district volleyball, baseball, and basketball players. More than 40% of the athletes he trained went on to play football, run track or play sports at the collegiate level with athletic scholarships.
Coach David Knowles
Coach David is an experienced coach with years of experience working with youth. Since he first learned to dribble, Coach David has been passionate about basketball. He played throughout his youth and high school years. In addition to his successful tenure playing in high school, he continued playing for the first few years of college as well. Today, he remains active in various outside leagues and serves as a coach for our Code Red Athletics League. His love for the game and extensive knowledge are evident every time he steps onto the court. He is dedicated to supporting and equipping kids with the knowledge that sports can help build confidence and community.
Coach Jesse Balderas
Coach Jesse is a highly respected coach with extensive experience in various sports. He primarily played soccer through high school before joining outside leagues in both soccer and basketball. Dedicated to giving back, he has volunteered with numerous charities and has a genuine passion for working with kids. Coach Jesse is patient and committed to developing well-rounded athletes and individuals. His mission is to elevate their skills while instilling critical lifelong values such as character, teamwork, and discipline.
Coach Eddie Allen
Coach Eddie is a highly qualified coach with over 10 years of experience working with youth and collegiate players. Originally from Marshall, TX he played Basketball all through high school and continued his love of playing into college. Coach Eddie has coached AAU as well as other smaller basketball leagues. Currently, he personally trains and mentors kids ages 7 and up focusing on fundamentals and developing each player’s individual skills. His athletes consistently see significant improvements not only in their skills but also in their confidence and work ethic. With his passion for the game and dedication to his players, Coach Eddie is a vital asset to our team.
Coach Hannah Foster
Coach Hannah Foster is currently an NCAA D1 track and field athlete at Abilene Christian University where I compete in the 100m and 200m open events. I have been competing and training in track and field for 11 years now. She has also coached various club track teams, instructed private lessons, as well as speed and strength camps with other sports such as football and baseball. Coach Foster is currently studying kinesiology, where she has learned to create sprint fundamental workouts and training regimes in the weight room to fit each athlete’s needs, no matter the sport.
